About the Author

Alana Nichols is the youngest daughter of Joanna Nicholas and Kenny Cheng, founders of the Children’s Hearing Foundation. She was born with profound hearing loss and received her cochlear implant in Australia. While growing up, she underwent auditory-verbal therapy.

郑雅文(Alana Nichols)是“雅文儿童听语文教基金会基金会”创办夫妇—-乔安娜女士及郑钦明先生的小女儿。她是天生的极重度听损，之后接受人工电子耳植入以及“听觉口语训练”的疗育。

Due to their compassion for children with hearing problems and their families, Joanna and Kenny established the Children’s Hearing Foundation almost two decades ago. Alana successfully completed high school with honours and is currently attending university.

本著对听损小朋友及其家人的关爱，乔安娜和郑钦明在十八年前成立了雅文基金会。郑雅文高中学业优秀，毕业时获颁荣誉学生，现在正在上大学。
